Don Self Received 45.5% Of The Vote In The Republican Primary

Don Self has been busy, since the May 29th election, where he received 45.5% of the vote in the Republican Primary. He has so much enjoyed getting to know the voters of Harris County, as he has visited most of the Republican and Pachyderm clubs that call Harris County their home.

Don believes that the judiciary should interpret the law (very pro Constitution), NOT MAKE the law, and decries the judicial activism that has wrought so much destruction on the core and conservative values our founding fathers envisioned.

Don Self is strongly pro- family, pro-military, and pro Second Amendment, all core values held dear by the Republican Party faithful. He will make a judge that will uphold these values, when faced with pressure from the Left to compromise in these areas. These core values have helped shape Don’s life, and he works hard at handing these values down to his children, as he believes in the words that Ronald Reagan once said,

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

In addition to his law degree, Don Self also achieved a Masters Degree in Law putting him in a class above his colleagues. He also is a decorated veteran. Primary Runoff

I am proud to have received almost 46 percent of the vote in the Primary on May, 29, 2012.
I received 55, 721 votes. Please vote in the Runoff. Early voting is July 23 through July 27. The Primary Runoff voting day is July 31, 2012.
